Who killed Rosie Larsen? Who cares. The better question is, who killed “The Killing”? That one’s a little easier to answer: the culprits would be producer/showrunner Veena Sud and her writers. After blasting out of the gates two years ago, AMC’s critically acclaimed “The Killing” ran into problems when, after an entire year of promising that they would solve their own crime, the show, led by producer Sud, decided to pull a fast one on the audience. That led to a weaker second season, though by then most fans of the show had already bailed. But as annoying as the show not living up to its own promise was, I’m sure Sud’s justification for the bait-and-switch probably irked most fans of the show even more. And so, after two seasons of rainy Seattle and filler episodes, “The Killing” has run out of time. At least, on the cable network AMC. The show, which was an adaptation of a Danish series
